Traditional Kashubian embroidery uses 7 basic colors, each of them has a meaning: yellow: sun and fields, green: woods, black: soil, light blue: sky, red: blood every Kashubian is ready to offer to defend fatherland, navy blue: sea, cornflower blue: lakes. Six of them are featured in this pattern.
