This table runner with Christmas baubles is the perfect addition when laying your table for a family feast this festive season.

For this festive project, a little bit of FPP and some easy circle appliqué to make Christmas baubles have been used. They have been laid out as a table runner, but you could use them for table mats or a hanging.

This modern Christmas table runner pattern is designed by Paula Hope. It was first published in issue 107 of Today’s Quilter magazine and is now available as a digital pattern here in our Gathered store.

The digital pattern includes:
● Step-by-step instructions and diagrams to talk you through how to make it.

You will need:
● Cream background fabric – 1⁄2yd
● Beige background fabric – 1⁄2yd
● Yellow stars – One (1) fat quarter n Red baubles – Eight (8) fat eighths n Golden yellow (bauble top) – Eight (8) 11⁄2in squares
● Green bauble strings – One (1) FQ or prepared 1⁄2in bias tape
● Lightweight interfacing – 1⁄2yd n Backing – 1⁄2yd
● Batting – 20in x 44in
● Four (4) sets of large star point FPP templates and four (4) sets of small star point FPP templates
● 1⁄2in bias pressing bar or a 1⁄2in bias maker

Finished size:
Approx. 15in x 40 1⁄2in
