Want to keep that elasticated waist element of your wardrobe, but make it fashion? Then these swishy, comfy culottes are calling your name, my friend.
The wide leg and paper bag waist suit all shapes and sizes, and because the pattern is based on your measurements, you’ll get just the right fit.
Use a viscose, crepe or rayon fabric to get that drapey finish that makes these so wearable, and make sure to use a 1.5cm (5/8") seam allowance throughout
unless stated otherwise.
This pattern is designed by Debbie Wainhouse and was first published in Mollie Makes magazine issue 120.
This digital pattern download includes:
● Step by step PDF instructions with colour photography to talk you through how to make it.
● Printable PDF pattern sheet/s (these are UK A4 size pages which you can print out at home and also provided in A1 size sheets to send to a Copyshop printer if you prefer)
You will need:
● 2.5m (98 1⁄2") drapey fabric (we used Spot Print Viscose Dress Fabric Black from www. minervacrafts.com)
● 1m (393/8") elastic, 3.5cm (1 3/8") wide
● Pattern paper
