About the design

Spice up your holiday stitching with a pair of cute 3D cross stitch gingerbread houses – they look almost good enough to eat! Made using plastic canvas, construct your very own mini models to display every year or gift to friends and family. Includes step-by-step tutorials with photos for easy assembling PLUS a gingerbread man and woman and candy cane designs to display around your scene.

There patterns were designed by Fiona Baker and were first published in The World of Cross Stitching issue 338.

Pattern details

The digital pattern includes:
• Printable charts in colour and black and white, alongside a guide on how to cross stitch (these are UK A4 size pages which you can print out at home).
• Key lists threads for DMC, Anchor and Madeira (model shown in photo has been stitched using DMC threads – Anchor and Madeira conversions listed as close matches but some variation may occur)
• Step-by-step tutorials with photos for assembling your stitched models.
