Striking the perfect balance between comfortable and cool, a chunky cardi is a wardrobe staple – and even better when upgraded with colourful flowers stitched in your favourite shades. We show you how to do just that using shimmering pearls and a handful of vibrant yarns (which you can substitute with 12 strands of stranded cotton if you prefer), for a nod to cottage-core trends.
This fun pattern features four gorgeous, versatile floral motifs – why not embroider them onto jeans, jackets, sweaters and more? You’ll also learn eight different stitches along the way. The Floral Motifs (for Winter Knits) were designed by Jenny Billingham and were first published in Love Embroidery magazine issue 22.
