● Four 4mm (UK 8, US 6) double-pointed needles, 15cm (6") long

There are three weather designs included in this pattern aside from the standard cloud that’s already worked into the design. These can be applied with duplicate stitch, a method of sewing over stitches that are already there. To do this, thread a length of yarn onto a yarn needle, take the needle and come up from the wrong side (WS) at the base of the stitch to be sewn over, then pull through leaving a long enough tail end to be woven in. Thread through the top of the stitch from right to left, then pull through the base of the stitch where you entered. This is the first duplicate stitch. Duplicate stitches are always worked best starting at the bottom right, then working left and up, then right and up.
