About the design
Cast on this bold hat incorporating coloured wedges against a dramatic black background. Worked in a self-striping rainbow yarn, it really pops with colour. This hat is worked in brioche stocking stitch with bands of purl creating the undulating effects. The crown shaping is incorporated into the purl sections, so there are no complicated brioche decreases to do.
This intermediate adult pattern is designed by Sandra Nesbit and was first published in The Knitter issue 184.
