About the design

Sew you and a pal bucket hats in two different sizes to shade from the sun whilst staying bang on trend. This gender-neutral design had different brim width options to choose from, so you can make one that's perfect for your style.

YOU WILL NEED
Smaller brim hat:
■ Fabric A: 0.5mx112cm – Outer and Brim
■ Fabric B: 50x50cm – Lining
■ Vlieseline M12 medium weight sew-in interlining: 0.5m
Larger brim hat:
■ Fabric A: 0.6mx112cm – Outer and Brim
■ Fabric B: 50x50cm – Lining
■ Vlieseline M12 medium weight sew-ininterlining: 0.75m
■ 25mm cotton bias binding – Small
■ 58cm, Medium 60cm, or Large 62cm
■ Matching thread
■ Basic sewing kit

NOTES
■ Use a 1cm seam allowance.
■ Templates include seam allowance.
■ Pay attention to fabric placement if your fabric is directional.
■ Fabric is cut on the horizontal fold for all templates apart from the hat top.
■ Use a walking foot if you have one, to help sew through thick layers.
■ Our hat comes in three sizes: Small 56cm, Medium 58cm and Large 60cm.
■ The instructions are the same whichever size you make.
■ Measure around your head to determine your size before cutting out your fabric.
