About the design
Crafting is always an amazing place to turn when you’ve got a busy mind. Getting stuck into a new endeavour is a great way to shift your focus and take a step away from any screens. Pop your favourite playlist or podcast on in the background and make the most of peaceful time to be creative.
Beth’s embroidered art is an easy beginner’s project, so there’s no need to feel intimidated by the drill. Take it slow and use small drill bits to ensure your holes maintain the floral pattern. You could even get kids involved with helping to paint – switch the colours up to match their rooms or hang in a window for a bright touch. Level-up to make it sustainable by using reclaimed wood and recycled thread, too.
This pattern is designed by Beth Jordan and was first published in Mollie Makes magazine issue 133.
