About the design

Paint the world a little brighter with this vibrant selection of eye-catching cross stitch patterns using an Assisi design style. Set of 6 card-sized designs perfect to stitch for Valentine's Day, birthdays, anniversaries, pride, wedding, congratulations and more!

Assisi-style patterns are simple designs in which cross stitch fills the background while the motif design itself is left blank, revealing the fabric to form the shape. Charts are beginner friendly using whole cross stitch only.

These patterns were designed by Fiona Baker and first published in The World of Cross Stitching issue 303.

Pattern details

The digital pattern includes:
• Printable charts in colour and black and white, alongside a guide on how to cross stitch (these are UK A4 size pages which you can print out at home).
• Model shown in photos has been stitched using DMC brand threads – Anchor and Madeira conversions listed as close matches but some variation may occur.
