YOU WILL NEED
■ Fabric A: 65x147cm (26x58in), for the main bag outer
■ Fabric B: 40x50cm (16x20in), for the base outer
■ Fabric C: 100x112cm (39x44in), for the lining and pocket
■ Fabric D: 30x70cm (12x28in), for the handles and leather or PU
■ Foam interfacing: 100x72cm (39x28in)
■ Lightweight iron-on interfacing: 15x50cm (6x20in)
■ Nylon zip: 18cm (7in), to coordinate with
■ Metal zip: 18cm (7in), to coordinate with the main fabric
■ 2 metal anorak studs: 15mm (5/8in) diameter
■ 8 metal rivets: 9mm (3/8in) diameter
■ Clear-drying fabric glue
■ Matching thread
■ Basic sewing kit

NOTE
■ Use a 5mm (1/4in) seam allowance throughout unless otherwise stated

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS
■ We used denim for the main bag, cork fabric for the base and cotton for the lining. Linen and furnishing fabrics will work well too. Offcuts of leather or PU leather are perfect for the handles.
