About the design

The cowl-neck poncho is a high street hit this season, but Simone Francis’s colourful, fringed version beats others hands down for fun and snuggliness. The wool and alpaca mix yarn makes for a sure-fire winter warmer and cosy cover-up. Practise those post treble stitches to make the ribbed cowl neck and edging, then work simple granny trebles for the main body of the garment.

This pattern is designed by Simone Francis and was first published in Simply Crochet Magazine issue 25.

● DROPS Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca, 50g/75m)
9 balls of Yarn A Light Beige Mix (0206)
1 ball of each:
