About the design

Create a stunning mathematical design without worrying about all the calculations with this beautiful quilt! The pattern mixes half-square triangles with 45° diamonds to make a striking star that creates Lone Stars where the triangles meet, with an additional four Lone Stars in the four corners to balance out the design.

This pattern is designed by Lynne Goldsworthy and was first published in issue 75 of Today's Quilter magazine.

Pattern details

This digital pattern download includes:
● Step by step PDF instructions with colour photography.
● Printable templates (these are UK A4 size pages which you can print out at home).

You will need:
● Red prints – seven to ten (7-10) fat quarters for variety
● Cream prints – nine to twelve (9-12) fat quarters for variety
● Background star print – 2yds
● Binding fabric – 1⁄2yd
● Backing fabric – 4¼yyds
● Batting – 76in x 76in
● Templates – twenty-four (24) half-square triangle templates, one (1) diamond template and one (1) set of the A templates (see Templates included)
