About the design

Have a whale of a time sewing this sweet trio of gifts for a new baby. The pattern set includes instructions to make a bib, soft toy and teether.

This pattern is designed by Lucy Ward and was first published in issue 147 of Love Patchwork & Quilting magazine.

Pattern details

This digital pattern download includes:
● Step by step PDF instructions with colour photography to make a bib, teether and soft toy.
● Printable templates (these are UK A4 size pages which you can print out at home).

Teether – you will need:
■ Plush fabric: 13in x 5in
■ Print fabric: 13in x 5in
■ One (1) 2¾in diameter teething ring
■ One (1) of the Teether Tail template

Teether – finished size:
■ 6in x 6½in approx

Plush toy – you will need:
■ Blue plush fabric: 16in square
■ Print fabrics: five (5) fat eighths
■ Black embroidery thread
■ Toy stuffing
■ One (1) of each of the Plush Toy Upper Body, Lower Body, Flipper and Patchwork templates

Plush toy – finished size:
